Gear control

All of the company’s measuring equipment (workshop and control) has a number, a life sheet and a calibration date. The metrology control is carried out at regular intervals according to a schedule, internally or by an external service provider depending on the tool.

We check (self-check or final check) according to our internal procedures or yours.

In addition to the « traditional » means, the geometry of your parts is checked by means of 3 digital measuring machines: two three-dimensional benches (1 Mitutoyo 9166, 1 Espace 500) and 1 Zeiss-Höfler bench specific to the control of gear teeth (photo on the right). We check the gear teeth of your gears on all the parameters defined by the ISO, DIN or AGMA standard thanks to this measuring bench equipped with the Klingelberg interpretation software with integrated standards.

We are therefore able to provide you with well-documented test reports that are tailored to the accuracy of your parts and are not subject to human interpretation.

The gear inspection reports are shown separately:

  • The profile error on all its parameters
  • The profile error on all its parameters
  • The individual pitch error on both flanks of each tooth
  • The cumulative pitch error on the 2 flanks
